| Saute chefs Jack Lem, III and Francis Vollaro and our competent staff produce beautiful, innovative continental-style cuisine with Northern Italian influences. Each dish is prepared "a la minute" meaning fresh, to order. Your food is never pre-cooked or "held". Fresh pasta is still made by hand daily here in our kitchen. Our house desserts are created from our own special recipes using only the highest quality ingredients. |

Back in 1992, when we first opened, we were the only restaurant in the area that offered live piano entertainment. Additionally, we felt that the image of a tuxedoed gentleman seated at the keys is an "upscale" statement of the level of elegance and ambiance we hope you enjoy here in our establishment. | Established in August of 1992 by owners John Lake and Neven Bajlo, John Henry's has become the favorite of discerning clientele who truly appreciate exceptional service, excellent fare and fine wines served in a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Decorated in rich green and oak, we feature our namesake, legendary winning racehorse, John Henry, in our spacious split-level main dining room. Intimate candlelit table settings, fresh flowers and discreet but attentive service encourage romance for our diners as they appreciate the musical stylings of entertainer, Jared Howe. The theme continues in our comfortable lounge where our friendly staff serve premium wines, excellent cognacs and single-malt scotches in addtion to the wide selections of beer and spirits. The perfect setting for special occasions and business meetings when only the VERY BEST will do. |

| Why "John Henry"? Our legendary namesame is the oldest, most successful thoroughbred in horse racing history. Here are a few career tidbits about our mascot. | Our Entertainer |
| Presently and for the past twenty years, Jared has lived and worked in Phoenix, Arizona at many of the finer hotels and resorts, including the Pointe Resorts, where he was a full time entertainer for ten years. In previous years Mr. Howe performed all over the country, including engagements in Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, Newport Beach, and Laguna Beach. He is second cousin to Michael Douglas, the actor, and has put groups together to entertain at celebrity parties. Jared came to John Henry's in November of 1999 after a successful run at Mastro's Restaurant. We feel very fortunate to have him. |
