Bob and I moved back to No. CA in 2004 after 23 yrs. in AZ, with many visits to John Henry's in the last 10 yrs. there. We had not before, nor since, been in a finer restaurant, with finer food, service, and with the hospitality we experienced under Neven's gracious management. We miss visiting John Henry's and will keep our memories of time spent there forever in our hearts. Thank you Neven, Tracy, and Adam!

My husband and I dined at John Henry's for the first time on Sunday, February 13, 2011. We were very pleased with the overall experience. The ambiance, food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the lobster bisque. My husband had the Whiskey Peppercorn Steak and I enjoyed the seafood ravioli. We are very much looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. Also, as a Kentucky girl, I am very happy the name is in honor of a successful race horse.

We went to John Henrys Tempe the week it opened! After leaving the US we still talk about it years later. We will visit again in April whilst back for a vacation.

Visiting the Legacy, the resort suggested your place among several we should try. We tried you on Monday and your were so good, we came back Wednesday.
The Salmon was so good that Gracie had it twice and the Linguini/Clams WITH RED SAUCE and Chicken Luchio were utterly wonderful! What a treat!
We are talking you up big time among our pals in Sun City West. And Mark, next time, we will ask for your zone - you were a big part of why we sort of have a crush on John Henry's.

My deceased husband & I really enjoyed dining with you. Since he has passed away I will not be in Az. as much. But if I do get the chance to visit I certainly will dine at John Henry's. Nevin and his staff do a wonderful job. I just wish there were nice restaurants in Springfield, Il. to dine at.

I wish you would put lobster tails on your menu. Do you ever offer them as a special? Thanks.
Dear Peggy - Although lobster tail is not a regular menu item, we usually have 10-12oz tails in house and offer it as a special quite often ($39). We sometimes have Alaskan King crab legs as well. Because we prepare our cuisine "a la minute", we are usually able to cater to your dietary desires. Be sure to ask your server! Thanks for your input. Having just moved here, this is our new favorite place. We've been twice arleady and Giovanni has been our WONDERFUL server each time. Well, it was more of a "drinking experience", than a dining experience. Ha-ha. Had THE MOST LOVELY time in your friendly, cozy lounge last night listening to Holly Kiersten and friends. We entered your establishment by-chance, it was across thestreet from where our son works. When we entered we felt a little out of place, not being dressed for fine dining, but your staff made us feel that our attire was not a significant issue. I believe the quote was "we are in Arizona". Our visit turned out to be fabulous experience, the meal and Stewart our waiter made for an exceptional dining experience.
My only regret is that we are 200 miles away in Yuma and can't make this a weekly dining experience.

I have recently moved to San Diego and found that there are many nice places to dine but none which provide great food and great service at the same time. The staff at John Henrys is the finest all around which is why I will be going back when I am in town. Outstanding place to eat or drink all around.
